Target Audience
Sherwin-Williams caters to two main types of customers: DIY (Do-It-Yourself) customers and Pro (professional) customers.
DIY customers:
These are typically homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want products like paints, stains, and wallpaper for their homes. They seek high-quality items and color advice but might have limited experience with painting projects.
Pro customers:
This group includes contractors, architects, designers, and professionals working on commercial projects. They need industrial-grade paints, coatings, and related products, along with services like on-site color matching and technical support.
Sherwin-Williams targets both customer segments by offering a comprehensive selection of high-quality products, expert color advice, and helpful services, such as in-store consultations, and online resources. The company aims to meet the unique needs and demands of both DIY and Pro customers, and to be their go-to source for all their paint and coating needs.
